We’re excited to announce a host of new features in HMO Checker – plus, we’ll be relaunching on 16th July. Our new features include new nationwide coverage, helpful HMO content, Source While Your Sleep and more!

Full nationwide coverage for HMO planning permission
Our data accuracy is about to get even better, with full nationwide coverage for HMO planning permission throughout England, Wales and Scotland. Use HMO Checker to better understand planning permission requirements for your prospective HMO property.
Full nationwide coverage for HMO licensing
We also now have full nationwide coverage for HMO licensing throughout England, Wales and Scotland. HMO licensing is an important step in HMO investing and knowing when you need to get a mandatory or additional license is essential for operating a legal and compliant HMO. HMO content
If you’re new to HMO sourcing and investment, you’ll love the new HMO content available in HMO Checker. From HMO licensing to Article 4 and building regulations, we’ve pulled together a whole host of information for first time HMO investors, or even those who want to brush up on their knowledge.
Simply navigate to Education in the HMO Checker dashboard to see all the free resources available. As always, we recommend reaching out to us directly if there’s anything you’re still not sure about.
COMING SOON: Source While You Sleep
Potentially the feature we are most excited about – Source While You Sleep is going to be a gamechanger for HMO sourcing in HMO Checker.
Source While You Sleep is a groundbreaking new feature that will allow you to check hundreds of properties listed on Rightmove in your chosen investment areas for HMO viability. With just a few clicks, you will be able to search for HMO properties in a desired location with your chosen filters and, while you sleep, HMO Checker will assess the results and pick those that fit the criteria best!
